A tribe to belong to
Skybreak Sisterhood is the Women's Ministry of Skybreak Church. Our women's ministry has been in existence for several years but was renamed "Skybreak Sisterhood" in January 2015. My desire was to try to provide what I saw as a growing need among women- unity. Today's woman needs a tribe to belong to- a group of women that has her back and affirms her worth. Life is tough. We all have issues. We are flawed. We are all in need of a Savior and I am so grateful for the sacrifice Jesus made for us. I believe he meets our needs by placing people in our lives. We were never meant to do life alone and we were never meant to carry our burdens alone. That’s what sisterhood is all about. Let’s be vulnerable with each other and make space at the table for one another.

Welcome to the blog site of Skybreak Sisterhood. My hope is that these words from my heart will make you laugh, make you cry, and make you feel safe. Think of this blog as a conversation on the couch with your best friend from Jr High (with, hopefully, a little more wisdom now). Most of all, I pray these words would point you toward Jesus.
